Fabric Scrap Giveaway**GIVEAWAY CLOSED**

As I was cleaning and organizing my sewing room, I realized that I have more fabric scraps than I will EVER use! Scraps are great for so many projects, but I continue to accumulate more all the time and I am running out of closet space for them.

Want to take some off of my hands? Do I need to twist your arm?

I'll stuff a Priority Mail envelope full of scraps and mail it out to the winner of this giveaway!
Some of the pieces are designer (Amy Butler, Alexander Henry), others are vintage, and some are from fabrics I picked up at Joann's or Hobby Lobby. There are a few 5 inch squares, but most of the scraps are larger (think fat quarter size).

In order to enter:

1. Leave a comment on THIS POST telling me one of your New Year's Resolutions for 2009. Keep reading for ways to earn extra entries.

2. Please, please either leave me your email address or blog link so that I can contact you if you win. Comments with no email address or blog link will be deleted. I will also delete your entry if you do not follow giveaway entry rules. If I cannot contact you, I will choose another winner.

3. One extra entry: Join in GAM '09 by posting a blog about a goal that you are setting for January 2009. Read about it here. Then come back and let me know where I can find your post.

4. Another extra entry: Blog about this giveaway and come back and let me know where you posted.

You have until Sunday, January 4th at midnight MST to enter. Check back on Monday to find out if you are the lucky winner!!

I love your GAM idea! I currently have so many resolutions that one a month sounds perfect for accomplishing them--kind of like Benjamin Franklin's 13 virtues, right? I think, to start off, it would be to go to bed at a decent hour so that I can wake up before the baby and get some quality time in by reading the Bible!

What fun!
I've come up with four resolutions on the occasion of my first attempts at resolutions. They are:
1-- get rid of the blubbery midsection I've gained since bearing children
2-- learn to bake bread
3-- develop a weekly schedule
4-- have an entirely handmade Christmas in 2009

You can see how fabric scraps would help me in my 4th goal ;)

Great contest! Thanks for the chance to enter!

I use to love to write when I was younger and many of my teachers all told me I should consider becoming a journalist. Once while I was in nursing school I remember telling one of them, "There isn't any money in Journalism." Oh the foolish things we say when we are young.

Well...that time has come and I'm finally starting to put some thought to the idea of starting a blog. So my New Year's Resolution is to blog something at least once a week. That is a goal I can measure and I believe a goal I can achieve.
