Seat backs up, no tray tables down--OZMA

Sorry it has been so long since I last updated. We've been out of town-more specifically, we've been sitting in an airport for two days. We were flying standby with Buddy Passes (thanks Jake!) which worked fine on the way out to UT, but we were not having much luck getting back. Finally, after being denied for three different flights, we decided to fly down to Tucson, rent a car, and drive back to Phoenix. What an ordeal. All in all, it was definitely better than driving 20 hours to and from UT with Jakson. Just thinking about that makes me want to stab myself in the eye.

The weather was beautiful and we had a great time visiting with friends and family. The school that I taught at was having a Shakespeare Festival complete with stocks, our family picture shoot was painless (so Zak says), and the pepperoni pizza with garlic ranch sauce at Brick Oven (have you tried this? If not, order it-you won't be sorry) was as delicious as ever. Needless to say, no one flew away disappointed.

Jakson had a great time playing with Grandpa. I think his favorite people in the world are his Grandpas. Not sure if this is because they are fun to wrestle with or because they feed him pumpkin pie and ice cream--they do say the way to a man's heart is food, he's just starting young. Grandma and Grandpa have a garden in their backyard-a great place for pictures! Jakson was outside "helping" Grandpa get some veggies for dinner when I took these.

Who needs a ball when you've got a cantaloupe?

I made the obligatory trip to Robert's and found these cute pumpkin bells on clearance to complete my Halloween decor.

Great-grandma Vermillion came to visit a couple of times while we were in Springville. She entertained Jakson with a modified game of peek-a-boo.

Jakson was handing out the kisses-signs of things to come?

We had a great time-thanks Vermillions!!
