Cute Boy Clothes DO Exist!

I still pick up baby girl dresses at the store and think "I wonder if this would fit Jak?" It's almost as if the boy clothing market is overlooked-just because typically boys aren't big shoppers later in life, doesn't mean their moms don't want to shop for them now!! It's so frustrating to go into a store and see three walls of fashionable girl clothes and one wall of mediocre boy clothes. Recently, I've found some online sites solely dedicated to boy stuff..cute boy stuff!!

Here are a few of my finds:

and these orange and chocolate stripe shoes by See Kai Run

Although, they don't exlusively sell boys' clothing, I have also found a couple of ETSY shops that have super cute boy stuff.

  • One is Jasper Heart Wren (do you suppose the name is something that was once doodled in a notebook?). Check out these awesome onesies! I LOVE THEM!

  • My favorite Etsy shop for clothes is Joey and Aleethea! Their monster inspired clothing is adorable!
And they have awesome stuff for mommy too-called "Be Cool with the Baby" :)!

My newest find is Simply A Boy. I discovered it because I won this awesome car!! I am so excited! But they have great clothes and accessories as well. Check out this Nurseryworks bedding--and this Superhero wall art-it says "Every boy is a superhero sometimes"

I love the super hero capes! I might have to get one of those for my little man. Do you remember Gine Messick (sp?)? I'm sure you do...from Copperfield and girls camp and all that. Don't know if you still keep in contact with her. Well she lives five houses down from me! It is such a small world! I get so excited "bumping" into people from my past life. BTW, we have a new blog because of security reasons. With the near kidnapping here in North Salt Lake it freaked Cody out a lot, so once again it is changed. http://codyandveronica.blogspot.com/

btw thanks for the recipe... i do one that is similar and a family favorite, but i never thought of the cheese! that sounds great! here's another one of our favorite crock pot meals:

Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds pork roast
1 bottle (14-ounce) of your favorite barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 medium onion, chopped
8 hamburger buns or hard rolls

Directions

In the slow cooker, you want to add the pork roast. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours or on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours. Remove the pork roast from the slow cooker.
Pull the meat into shredded pieces. Throw away any liquid in the slow cooker.
Add the pulled pork with the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and onion.
Cook on HIGH for 2 hours. Serve the barbecue pork on hamburger buns or hard rolls.
